Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
CNAs & PCAs will be responsible for the following:
Performing Personal Care Services or “Hands on services” and Companionship Services for elderly, ill, disabled, and recuperating clients; for example, assistance with bathing & dressing, feeding, toileting, meal preparation, vital sign checks, light housekeeping, medication reminders, loving companionship, and transportation/ errands.
The following is required in order to qualify for a Caregiver position with Thrive Healthcare, LLC:
• Be licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of GA or have a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certificate with GACCP (Which is recognized a suitable training program per state regulations and DCH
• Thrive provides PCA training when needed
• Positive previous work experience verified by providing a 5 years employment history/ or complete employment history if person has not been employed 5 years
• Pass a criminal background check
• Submit to random drug screening
• Have no history of abuse or neglect
• Current CPR/ First Aid Certification
• Negative TB Skin test results
• Personal Vehicle/ dependable transportation with proof of insurance
• Demonstrate normal comprehension and literacy in written assessment
• Quality driven individual
• Professional attitude (Courteous and kind demeanor, ability to apply conflict resolution and reasoning)
• Interactive/ engaging personality
• Professional appearance (well groomed, wear scrubs, and short nails)
