A Homecare Service LLC located in Palatine, IL., an In-Home Private Care provider has a part-time job opportunity for a home care marketing representative in the Lake, McHenry and Northwest Suburbs of Cook County area. This position has the opportunity to grow into a full-time job. You will need to be comfortable networking in our assigned service area by calling and visiting healthcare, assisted and independent living and memory care facilities, nursing homes, eldercare facilities, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and other healthcare related facilities, and through community events, with the primary responsibility of generating referrals and business for non-medical caregiver services. This is an outside sales position that requires daily travel and face-to-face sales calls with referral sources.  Office location is in Palatine and territory covered is the surrounding town and all points in between.  • Ideal candidates will preferably have existing relationships with.. Social workers Case managers Discharge planners Geriatric managers Nurses/Physicians  Assisted & Independent living facilities  Rehabs Hospitals Hospice  and other potential referral sources. A strong background in.. Home care Marketing (Healthcare) and community relations is preferred! Required Experience: Background in home care services, and/or working knowledge of such services Basic knowledge of community relations and a passion for senior citizens, and those with disabilities Preferred Experience: Established referral relationships in the Northwest Counties of Illinois One to Two years of prior health care sales experience Background in hospice, Assisted/Independent living or medical sales
