Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Provides direct care of a group of residents and provides the activities of daily living care, including documentation
Assists or supervise residents with physical needs such as bathing, dressing shaving, feeding oral hygiene, active and passive exercises, use of bathroom and peri-care
Take and record vital signs
Chart on assigned residents daily
Assist eiths activity program as needed
Keep resident's area clean and neat at all times.
Encourage resident to function at his/her maximum level of ability at all times.
Assist with re-motivation and re-socialization programs such as range of motion exercises and show interest in the resident as a person.
Support the nursing program in a positive and constructive manner
Maintain CNA certification through in-service education.
Must be 18 years of age or older
Have a current CNA certificate
Be able to be at work on time and work scheduled hours.
Be responsible and trustworthy
Maintain a neat and clean appearance.
