CAREGIVER / MED TECH TruCare Community is currently seeking a hardworking, entry-level, full-time Caregiver/Med Tech to assist our residents and join our assisted living team. We have several open positions for different shifts: AM SHIFT 6am-2pm PM SHIFT 2pm-11pm NOC SHIFT 10pm - 6am Qualifications (non-negotiable): • Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing • Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance • High school diploma or GED required • Flexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidays • Experience in medication administration preferred Job Description: • Prepares and assists with self-administration of resident medications according to doctor’s orders and the MAR • Appropriately logs medication administration on MAR, including PRN medication • Assist caregivers with daily assignments, ensuring completion in assistance with resident Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) • Communicates clearly, calmly and effectively with residents, families and Wellness Coordinator with any changes or resident concerns • Complete any outstanding paperwork for the day including filing, logging medication and centrally stored record • Orders, receives, inventories supplies and medications to assure supplies are always available, maintains orderliness and cleanliness of medication cart • Additional duties as assigned by Administration We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full time employees including medical, dental, vision, and voluntary supplemental insurance through AFLAC.
