Detail-Oriented Compassionate Home Care Aides

Home Care Aides provide personal care, companionship, and life enrichment services to help seniors and others requiring assistance to continue to live independently in the comfort of their own home or facility. Must be able to work independently or in teams to meet the needs of our clients.  Change linens and make beds;  Prepare and plan meals (including clean-up);  Assist with feeding;  Help with walking, use of assistive devices, transfers, change of position;  Plan ahead for future meals, check expiration dates on food;  Do laundry (may include light ironing);  Light housekeeping duties (such as vacuuming and dusting);  Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting;  Incontinent care;  Take out the trash;  Run small errands (pick up prescriptions; shopping, etc.);  Medication reminders;  Assist with prescribed exercises;  Provide emotional support and motivation;  Escort to appointments (doctor, physical therapy, hair salon, etc.);  Organize mail and maintain a schedule/calendar;  Escort to religious services;  Engage in regular activities (talking, games, etc.);  Provide companionship;  Record daily care notes;  Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment;
