Caregivers needed to help Veterans in South LA. Part time available $23 per hour

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring caregivers for non-medical in-home care services. We provide care for the elderly and/or disabled or adults and children with a developmental disability in the privacy of their own homes. Our customers expect honest, reliable, compassionate, caring men and women to assist them. If you have these qualities and are interested in making a difference in someone’s life, we need you! Job duties include: Personal Care Assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting) Transferring and Ambulation Assistance Light Housekeeping Grocery Shopping and Meal Preparation Companionship/Supervision Transportation to doctor appointments and errands Habilitation Goals and Objectives (may require community outings) Job Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older High school Diploma or equivalent (Preferred) Reliable - Personal Transportation Valid CA driver’s license, proof of insurance Documents that show identity and eligibility to work in the U.S. Registered with The Home Care Aid Registry* Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card* Completed Background Check* CPR and First Aid Certification Proof of a Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Screening * Direct Care Worker Training (DCW)* *We can assist you in obtaining these items if you don’t have them and will reimburse the fees after 30 days of scheduled work* We provide masks, hand sanitizer, gloves and COVID19 specific training to keep you safe!
