Golden Hands Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable caregiver to provide personal care, companionship, and safety supervision for a client living with dementia. The caregiver should be comfortable assisting with activities of daily living while providing reassurance, structure, and meaningful companionship. Responsibilities Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene Provide toileting and incontinence care as needed Assist with mobility, walking, and safe transfers Provide close safety supervision and help reduce fall and wandering risks Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support Engage the client in appropriate activities such as music, conversation, puzzles, reading, or short walks Prepare and serve simple, nutritious meals and snacks Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan Perform light housekeeping, including keeping the client's immediate living area clean and organized Assist with laundry, changing linens, and maintaining a comfortable environment Maintain a calm and consistent routine to help reduce confusion and anxiety Redirect and reassure the client appropriately when experiencing confusion, agitation, or repetitive behaviors Observe and report any significant changes in the client's behavior, condition, appetite, mobility, or overall well-being Document care provided and communicate important information to Golden Hands Healthcare as required Follow the client's individualized care plan and all Golden Hands Healthcare policies and procedures
