Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description

Positions available: 6p-10p (part time),day 6a-6p, noc 6p-6a
Must have a good standing NURSE license or graduated from a NURSE school recently.
Responsibilities:
medication administration, treatments, contacting MD, RX, reporting/documenting, assessments and more.
Will need to pass a background and drug test.
Beside the basic Nurse skills we anticipate you will have, we need people who can answer yes to the following:

Responsibilities
Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
Observe patients/residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
Monitor and record vital signs.
Provide assistance as necessary with activities of daily living.
Administer prescribed medications, injections, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks.
Collect lab samples
Communicate with other members of the team, residents, families and medical professionals.
Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
LPN or RN license required (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
Perfect physical condition and stamina
