The Caring Connection is presently hiring LVNS for full time and part-time in North Hills, North Hollywood, Pacoima, Culver City, and Hawthorne!!! NEW GRADS WELCOME! Training provided if needed! AVAILABILITY DATES NEEDED: MAINLY MON-FRI OR TUES-SAT FUNCTIONS: Performs specific nursing procedures as needed following doctor’s orders including but not limited to trach care, g-tube, Bi-PAP, respite care for families to provide them a break of everyday life, etc… The Caring Connection currently have openings for clinicians who would like to combine their love for people and strong work ethic with the opportunities to advance their career for the following: Field LVNs: -Responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse - Must be able to demonstrate competency in nursing and assessment skills and be able to accurately identify changes of condition - Follows the plan of care, provide treatments, including working collaboratively with office team to help exceed patient outcomes Qualifications and Skills: -Graduate of an accredited school of nursing -Current licensure in state of California issued by BVNPT -CPR certification -Valid California driver's license and proof of car insurance -Physical exam with TB test or Chest X-ray as required by the agency policies and procedures -Successfully pass all post-offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States -Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 25 to 50 pounds -Effective communication and compassionate interpersonal skills -Provides health care instructions to the patient as appropriate per assessment and plan of care -Turn in all paperwork on time completed with accurate home assessment/visit notes of patient (s) within 72 hours -Reliable and committed to service the patients/families - Bilingual (Spanish, Vietnamese speaking, sign language) is a plus Compensation: -Negotiable, depending on the candidate's experience!!! Job Type: Full Time and Part-time Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
