Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job Description

Nice to have - Current CNA License in the state of Illinois.
NOTE: Caregivers MUST reside within 10 miles (MAX) of La Grange IL. No exception. Ideally in Western Suburbs (i.e. La Grange, Brookfield, Elmhurst, Berwyn, Summit, etc.).

Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate caregiving assistance to senior (over 65+) individuals in their homes
- Assist with meal preparation, planning, and feeding
- Support individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help individuals with mobility and transferring, including lifting and positioning
- Implement behavior management strategies as directed by supervisors
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Light housekeeping duties required - Run errands as needed
- Document and report any changes in senior behavior or health status to the appropriate
management
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes
- Ability to follow established care plans and procedures
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Prefer Spanish or Polish Speaking
