We are looking for a competent and compassionate Caregiver to care for our clients. It can be very satisfying and rewarding, since people who are ill, injured, disabled or elderly are thankful for high quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients. Responsibilities Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Assist clients with meal preparation as needed Medication reminder as needed Perform housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own Be a pleasant and supportive companion Report any unusual incidents Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Skills MUST SPEAK, READ AND WRITE IN ENGLISH Personal care Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful and compassionate Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong ethics Physical endurance Job Type: Part-time Salary: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: 12 hour shift 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Evening shift Holidays Night shift Overnight shift Self-determined schedule Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay COVID-19 considerations: PPE provided Masks are required Vaccination card are encouraged but not required Experience: Home care: 1 year (Preferred) Time management: 1 year (Preferred) Senior care: 1 year (Required) English: 1 year (Required) Caregiving: 1 year (Required) Work Location: On the road
