Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job Description
Leading Edge Senior Care has openings for professional, dependable Personal Care Assistants
Part Time & Full-Time positions available in Mesa and Gilbert
Monday - Friday morning & afternoon positions.
Job duties include: mobility assistance, bathing, hair care, meal preparation, errands, and light housekeeping.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, have a fingerprint clearance card or be able to obtain one.
2. Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the elderly.
3. Ability to carry out directions, read and write English.
4. Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
5. Must have at least 2-years prior experience working with the elderly.
6. Ability to participate in physical activity.
7. Ability to lift/to do extensive bending and standing on a regular basis.
8. Valid Arizona Driver’s License and current automobile insurance. Clean 3 year driving history, no more than 1 at fault accidents, and no more than 2 moving violations.
9. High school graduate or G.E.D certificate.
10. CPR/First Aid Certified
