Personal Attendant (ILS/SLS)

Position Requirement Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred. Experience in any social service field is also acceptable. Candidates must either have or be willing to become CPR/First Aid certified. Must have a clean driving record and a personal vehicle. Must be able to pass fingerprinting/criminal background check. Must have a clear TB test result Position Summary We are looking for candidates to work Personal Attendant shifts with clients in the East Bay, Brentwood, Antioch, Pittsburg, Concord, Walnut Creek, and Martinez. This candidate needs to be creative, fun, and energetic. Job responsibilities include: Provide constant and appropriate supervision Must be an adult role model with the ability to effectively set limits Transport client to day program, medical appointments, community etc. Monitor and document client’s intake of medications and ensure that medications are handled and stored accordingly. Assist clients with independent living goals. Shifts available: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am Salary $14.00-$16.00 We currently have full-time and part-time shifts available.
