RN PEDIATRIC NEEDED

RN PEDIATRIC NEEDED IN WALDORF/WESTMINSTER FOR IMMEDIATE PRIVATE NURSING DUTY treating medical conditions in children and adolescents Administering medications and minor procedures as prescribed by the doctor Performing physical examinations and documenting patients' symptoms and medical history Providing education and support to family members and answering their questions Working with the client and making him comfortable in medical settings Assessing a child's needs and providing initial care Identifying changes in children's symptoms and intervening in emergency situations Observing work shift schedules and extending work if needed Monitoring patient's convalescence and following up with the pediatrician REQUIREMENT Earn a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university Pass the NCLEX-RN exam Hold an active and unrestricted RN license Complete a minimum of 500 (PNCB highly recommends 600) hours of supervised clinical practice in primary or acute care pediatrics Completion of an MSN, DNP, or post-master's certificate program accredited by the ACEN or CCNE with a concentration in pediatric primary or acute care Good knowledge of private Nursing duty
