Registered Nurse (RN) Weekday Supervisor-Evening Shift

Long View Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is a 108 bed facility located in northern Carroll County in Manchester, MD. We strive to provide quality care in a rural setting for our residents. We are looking for a RN team member to provide a positive experience at our facility. The RN Supervisor position is eligible for our **Sign-on Bonus ** Evening shift position pays shift differential of $3.00 during the week. This position is Monday-Friday with no weekends. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Assist the Director of Nursing in directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility. Make daily rounds of the Nursing Department to ensure that all nursing personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards. Complete and file required forms/charts upon a resident’s admission, transfer and/or discharge. Encourage attending physicians to review treatment plans. Transcribe physician orders to resident charts. Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician. Order prescribed medications, supplies and equipment as necessary. Participate in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident as necessary. Requirements: Active RN license from Maryland Board of Nursing At least one year supervisory experience preferred.
