Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description

Under the guidance of our Senior Administrator, who has been leading with excellence for over nine years, we’ve built a strong, collaborative team that prioritizes compassionate care and professional development.
We are currently hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for all shifts, focusing on night shift positions. As part of our commitment to your growth and success, we offer a $7,500 sign-on bonus for night shift RNs.
Location: Advanced Care, 3002 North 18th St., St. Joseph, MO
Shift Differential & Bonus Info:
$2 shift diff from 6pm - 6am during the week
Weekend shift differential: $3.50 starting Friday night through the end of Sunday night shift
$500 Referral Bonus
Hours/Shifts: Full-time, part-time, and PRN openings for all shifts

What You’ll Do: As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing residents' health needs and creating individualized care plans.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitoring residents’ vital signs and promptly reporting any changes.
Providing education and emotional support to residents and their families.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, holistic care.
Accurately documenting residents’ progress and outcomes using electronic medical records.
Staying informed on the latest research and nursing best practices.
Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Contributing to a positive, supportive team culture.
What You Bring:
Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
At least 1 year of experience as an RN in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative spirit and commitment to providing exceptional care.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
