Nurses are lying when transferring patients about other facilities saying there’s no openings at the other facilities so that we stay in the same Waters company. But when I called the same facility they said had no openings and they happily took my Mamaw. They were lying to my Mamaw about them kicking her out saying it was our fault and we were making her leave. They wouldn’t wash her clothes and left her drawers full of clothes soaked in pee. They didn’t not take care of her well. I understand she could be difficult but she’s still human.
My husband was sent here for lymphdema rehab, but they weren't equipped for that. They only had someone who knew how to wrap his legs, there was no rehab for lymphdema there, he was left in a wheelchair that he could not fit in, for 30 minutes alone, and was put in a bed he could not fit in for over two weeks, which caused the swelling to only get worse, he urinated through his catheter, had to scream to get the nurses attention, they only had one ever on the floor. He ended up with sepsis shock because of that place and he died June 9th 2025! Do not send your loved ones there! He was only 41 years old! Taken from me and our kids!! I'm currently speaking to an attorney. Avoid this place at all costs. Your loved one might not come back. Update** June 20th 2025 I emailed them 4 days ago regarding my husband's death from their neglect and got no response. They say they take everything seriously, but looks like they just ignore you and keep neglecting people in their care!
My mother in law has been to this facility many times. Bringing comfort to all of us knowing how well she was taken care of. Time after time they went above and beyond for our family and the care was top notch according to my mother in law even when we werent in to see her. For her to love the place says a ton in my opinion
I went to the Waters right after my surgery. They lied and said I would get therapy and use of their gym. I got admitted and they said their rehab section and gym was closed. I was put in quarantine and not allowed to leave my room. And it gets much worse.I was there 7 days and had to beg to get 1 shower. Sometimes would have to wait 30 min to an hour before they answer my light. I would pee on myself and had to just wait. One aid even called me a liar and said she just left my room. I was on the phone with my daughter and she did not come to my room. The final straw was I threw up my lunch and ask for a nausea pill at 1:00. The nurse finally brought it at 2:45. I told my daughter get me out of here. Social Services said what can we do. Too late, it was what you didn't do. My doctor said he will not send any more patients there. Please don't send your love one there. They will not take good care of them. Filing a complaint against them. I was neglected.
DO NOT SEND ANY LOVED ONE HERE!!!!! My grandfather had to go after covid and other health issues. He was there for a month. They let him get countless blood sore, didn’t brush his teeth ONCE in 6 weeks, never changed his clothes, never had the physical therapy see him as the doctors ordered. They lied, they left him in sweats covered in urine and feces. Forgot to feed him numerous times. He lost 88 pounds in the time he was there. He was confused and lost his mind thought everyone was going to hurt or poison him. They ended up calling 911 after he wouldn’t let them touch him he was so paranoid and scared. The doctor and nurses reported this facility as not just neglect but severe elder abuse. I’m blown away at what awful shape they put him in. Don’t send anyone you may possibly love here.
