My husband spent a week there in August 2024 before coming home for hospice. The building itself is horrific. Falling apart. They told me it was built in 1957. The facility is unsafe for both residents & staff. Adding to the misery is the totally antiquated equipment. The facility is dangerously understaffed. In spite of these huge obstacles, the staff endeavors to give the best care possible to the residents. I was there daily & spent hours with my husband. I observed the staff to be patient, kind & considerate to the residents. The charge nurse was always available to answer questions & listen to my concerns. The Aides were very helpful, kind & knowledgeable about my husband's diagnosis & needs. They always made time to assist me when I needed them. The RNs were also empathetic & always available to give me an update on his condition. Overall, the condition of the facility is dangerously outdated & falling apart. But the staff tries their very best everyday to give good, quality care to all residents. Our family will never forget their kindness at one of the worst times in our lives.

This was the absolute worse place to be taken to. My sister hated the facility. There wasn’t any real PT. The smell would knock you over. The place is depressing. The room where my sister was, there was a patient that had been a resident for 5 years. The room was so depressing. Nothing on the walks. So depressing.
