ARC AT CHILLICOTHE

My dad has Parkinson’s and Lewy Dementia and was placed at the Arc in the skilled nursing part of the facility. We got a good recommendation from a family member. The Director of Nursing was very helpful, understanding and professional but her staff is another story. They are rude, disrespectful, uncaring and haven’t any compassion for the elderly that need care. They literally ignored my dad the time he was there. Also they bring the trays around for meals and just sit them on the table and leave. Doesn’t help cut up food or open milk containers. We let the home know about our concerns but I’m not sure if the staff was told or they just did what they wanted. So if your love one needs skilled care and can’t do for themselves I suggest you look elsewhere but if they can be independent then they will get all the attention. So we ended up taking him home to care for him till he dies.

This facility is excellent from nursing staff, house keeping, activities and food. This place is clean and well taken care of. Very friendly and caring staff. Physical Therapy is top notch and helpful. My short stay here has been excellent and productive. I want to thank the staff for their wonderful care and compassion. I would recommend this Restore to Home facility to everyone.

The location in Chillicothe is horrible. My mother was poorly taken care of and went downhill. She didn't get the help of their staff but was greatly talked about outside of her room. I would not recommend this facility to anyone unless you are ready to let your family member go. Billing is also ridiculous and a joke and you will get threatening bills when the patient hasn't even been there.

So far we have been very happy with the care my mother has gotten here. We get constant updates and the staff have done a lot to help manage her health problems. It is also more affordable than other places

very clean and friendly. The workers make personal connections with residents. The therapy department is extremely helpful.
