The building is really clean when we first entered. We didn’t know what to expect because of past reviews. But Chances exceeded our expectations during the facility tour. I now feel comfortable with my mom coming here for rehab.
My aunt recently discharged from Collierville health and rehab and I am glad this is the facility I picked. The staff was very attentive, the DON was very knowledgeable during my care meeting. She went over and beyond to ease my mind about leaving my loved one; even provided me with her personal cell number for any after hour questions. I was very hesitant after reading some of the previous reviews but I am so glad I chose wisely. I highly recommend this facility.
I would not recommend this facility to anyone considering it for their loved one. The overall quality of care here is extremely poor. • The facility is filthy, with noticeable insects and rodents inside. • Staff are often under the influence (marijuana use is evident), and nurses have even been known to take residents’ prescribed medications. • There is no drug testing upon hiring, and the environment feels unsafe. • Residents frequently run out of essential supplies such as briefs, and the food served looks more like prison food than proper nutrition for seniors. • The facility is chronically understaffed, leaving employees overworked and unable to provide adequate care. • The Director of Nursing and the Administrator are rarely on-site, showing little accountability or oversight. • If a resident becomes seriously ill, the facility will try to keep them in-house rather than sending them to the hospital—raising concerns that financial motives come before patient well-being. This is not a safe or caring place for anyone’s family member. Please look elsewhere for a facility that will treat your loved one with dignity, respect, and proper medical care.
I done a tour of the rooms and this is what I saw so the reviews can’t be right. I walked through it was clean. The residents were listening to music and doing activities. It was a family like environment. I was impressed because I don’t like Nursing Homes but what I read on the reviews and what I saw is not the same this is not a 1 star facility
The facility is a excellent place to work and also a wonderful home style setting for the residents. I would recommend this facility to anyone.
