We placed our mother/mother in law here on hospice. They have a special room and we were allowed to stay with her 24/7 until she passed. They have some wonderful, caring nurses and aids that really cared, they were so gentle with her & made sure she was comfortable! They took extraordinary care of our family too! We checked out several places but so glad we chose Hillcrest! We couldn't have asked for better. We want to thank everyone that took part in her care!! You can't imagine how appreciated you were in such a heart breaking time. May God Bless you all!
The staff will allow fall risk residents fall and take no responsibility for the neglect. My mother died last October because of their neglect.
My only complaint about this place and all nursing homes, they constantly smell like Pee, but you can't expect anything different at nursing homes all they do is change diapers. But I thought the staff was very nice and everyday I came to see my friend she was cleaned and ready for the day. she was on Hospice care and she only lived there a week. it was a very pleasant experience and if I need a nursing home this is one I would pick. Thanks for taking care of my friend Carrol, and thanks for keeping me informed
Ok, my mother called this place cause of my grandmais at this place, and one of the nurses was extremely rude to her. All my mom was asking questions about my grandma health and hospice, and the nurse said goodbye like really in a hurry like if my mom or grandma didn't even matter. See, my grandma is going on hospice, but she's getting better . When my mom got on that subject about hospice, the nurse hung up on her. The nurse is my grandma nurse and also she has also been lying to my mom. She claimed that Grandma signed for it and she didn't cause she had c diff. I won't even trust this so-called nursing home they don't tell you the truth, and especially the hospice people, they are killing our older generation for their benefit. We have dealt with hospice, and we see what they do.
I visited my cousin last week. I have been to many nursing homes over the past 20 years and this home seemed about average. It did have some smells, but not terrible. The staff seemed over worked and burned out, but this was no more than the average amount you see in most nursing homes. The building was fairly new and it had good lighting and lots of windows which made it less depressing.
