My mother was sent her because she could not eat because of low oxygen. My sister and I went to visit her and we thought she was fine because no med was administered to her and no oxygen. Next day I visit her she said that she was yelling of pain and there was no nurses there coming to help her at all. So I called all the nurses to check her oxygen and sugar at etc. her oxygen was very low. And this was her third day there without oxygen. They try outing oxygen and their damn machine don’t work so they took her right away to ICU without putting no med for the pneumonia. After 6 month she hit intubated there I think they neglected her and die. She was send here by her senior home I would have never sent her to this hospital at all. I alway heard bad stories and feel guilty for not taking her out on time before intubate her they never told me the risk about that and I’m still hurting cuz my mother was 83 and was not going to make it out of that one. Please don’t ever take a love me to this hospital fight for them and take them to any other hospital except this one.
I know people tend to all have their own different experiences and I've always chosen this hospital as a primary for me and my edema, usually my health condition is severe and switching hospitals isn't always a good thing however I have given other hospitals a try and none have been able to top the care level that their staff has shown me. I apologize for the Grammer errors in advance lol. My care started with Leslie jc and Megan who were all attentive and basically healed me from a 102.9 severe to 98.6 in less than an hr, they knew exactly what to do. Next due to their fever protocol I was forced to spend the night to ensure proper after care wouldn't miss those medications. I was given the care over to Francis and let me tell you she's an angel the level of attentiveness made me feel like I was a vip. Very informative very knowledgeable and also willing to learn and be patient with my illness as its not common to others she is a star and hopefully never leaves this hospital because her and the whole team who've cared for me is the reason I always choose greater el monte first
This hospital is a horrible place to go for a medical emergency. The nurses are rude and the Doctor is a joke. I wish I can give it zero stars. This place will not perform a thorough exam. They kept sending my dad home with nausea medications and excruciating pain and unable to walk. He ended going to a different hospital and they found he had a perforated ulcer. Please reconsider going a better hospital like inter community. This place will let your loved ones die.
Greater el monte community hospital?? More like worser el monte community hospital. This hospital has the most incompassionate, unintelligent, immature and unprofessional nurses I've ever seen. I had an aunt who was discharged from this hospital way too early despite the fact that she was unable to walk, eat or even function yet this places so called supervisor had the nerve too argue back at us for calling them out on failing to do their job and almost causing the death of my aunt. This place is also flooded with a bunch of kids who clearly have no business even being in the Healthcare industry and we're only hired because of their youthful looks which the boss probably wants too seduce in the future, rather then even being qualified to be a nurse. The nurses socialize with each other laughing out loud, making inappropriate jokes and blasting music out loud as if they are in Disneyland and have no respect for the fact that they are working with sick/terminally-ill people. Also their security guard is extremely incompetent and only told us that only 2 visitors were allowed at the very last second as soon as all 3 of us were walking in rather then initially telling us at the beggining. He literally had 4 minutes too tell us that it was only 2 visitors per visitation but decided to at the very last second while we were already on our way just too embarrass me. This place is such a joke and a disgrace to the medical industry as a whole and should be shut down. This place is almost like a high school. If you live nearby this hospital and are considering going or bringing a loved one here, PLEASE RECONSIDER and go too literally any other hospital because your/their condition will worsen due to the incompetency of the nurses here. Their goal is too discharge you as fast as they could rather then help you get better
I had a great experience nurses were kind doctor was excellent and helping me to get home healthy once again I was there for 4 days and every second someone was helping me out as the nurses and doctors. Christopher Serira Anthony Alma. I recommend greater El Monte community hospital. 🫶
