I would not send a loved one here. My mom died here more than likely because of not getting the care she needed. No communication with nurses or a doctor. I had to call hospice myself . They were great. Mom lasted a day. All they cared about was getting mom’s money for Medicaid. I have to live with this guilt of not speaking up more about her care. Do not have a loved one here long term.
This place is wonderful. The staff was very helpful and had no problem helping me find my way around. The volunteers were friendly and you could tell they loved working with the residents. This nursing home is definitely not like the others. It is kept very clean and the halls are filled with decorations that make the place feel more homey. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting the best care for their loved one.
I was i Envive Evansville for 2 weeks in that time no one changed my bed linen housekeeping was hit and miss .I had to ask for a shower after a week. When staff finallyhgaveme a shower theyput me in a rollig chair and left the room , telling me your soap and shampoo are on the shelf. When I reached for them I almost fell on the floor when the chair rolled out from under me.Whe they finallly came back I ask them the lock the chair. They never offered to help me in anyway. Finally they blow dried my hair 1 minute. and pushed me out the door. Somtimes it was 2 days before I got fresh water. I feel sorry for people who have to live there. It was the worse experience of my life. Anyone who says this place is great must no know what a hole they are living in.Or else someone is writting the review has never lived there. Besides all that when I went there they told me I had to pay them 27 dollars so I gave them my debit card. When I went home. They had taken 17 hundred dollars out of my checking account. I had no mony for rent utilities or food. This was my social security. All the money to my name how can they do this to an 80 year old women. They have no heart. Money is all they care about. No the people who are unfortunate to live there. Please dont put your loved one there and for goodness sake dont give them any bank information.
I had a wonderful experience visiting this place. The staff was extremely friendly and the building didn't smell anything like a typical nursing home does. There is adorable decor all throughout and they decorated some of the halls like a little town. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting their family members to be in a loving environment.
I'm in here visiting my friend 3 or 4 times a week, and can't say enough good things about your staff. The front desk always has a smile, food service treats the residents as friends, and the nurses and techs are very professional.Appreciate all your staff
