I was at Yuba City and Gridley and the difference in care was the difference of day and night. I saw a doctor on a regular basis at GRIDLEYand never saw one at. YUBA CITY POST ACUTE I Begged Yuba city to send me to the hospital and they refused. I came home critical and had to go to hospital the next day after leaving Yuba city acute care. I was taken to the hospital twice at Gridley Acute Care. I didn’t have to even ask they sent me because their care is so superior to Yuba City’s. The only reason I couldn’t give a five star to Gridley is because their food is Not so good . The staff are way superior with Nurses and CNAs that are kind caring and smart. The PT staff is so much better than Yuba City’s. They were smart and attentive-to your needs.
Hello! Family and Friends I had/have my Family friend stay in here for the last few months as well as have a niece who works at the facility not only will your family be talked about negatively among the staff, will retaliate against you if you even were to defend the resident or yourself it’s going to be hell for you! My aunt is constantly made fun of about her being here and the state she’s in and it breaks my heart that careless people can work at a facility so hostile, not to mention dirty, the rooms rarely get swept and mopped once a week …. if that, not to mention the horrible food choices they have and continue to give…for the amount you pay you’d think you’d at least could get a piece of a bread roll that wasn’t as hard as a rock.. (I wish I was joking) my aunt will never return to this place once she’s out and I hope you reconsider bringing your family member in here unless you want them to feel neglected and mentally abused.
I just wanted to share my experience as a family member. My sister was sent to the rehab center to rehab for her toes to removed. She was in very good health before her visit back in April. My sister was treated like a beloved family member from the beginning. The nurses to the administration, physical therapist, and the activities director down to the cooks in the kitchen were nothing but amazing. I will be forever grateful for all the love and support they gave her and myself as well. Most often it is a thankless job so I want to give my sincere thank you
My mother had a fall in Oroville where we live. She ended up breaking a bone, requiring her to go to Gridley Post Acute for recovery. I chose this facility based on its 5 star rating from Medicare. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly. I want to thank the staff for the care my mother received and for making a scary situation much more manageable. I was grateful for the Spanish speaking nurses, who made my mother feel comfortable and understood. I highly recommend Gridley Post Acute to anyone in need of quality post acute care.
