I am amazed with this facility! The staff is great and very attentive and helpful. Victoria was very professional and sweet during the admission process. Sonya was great with my grandmother and very helpful taking her to her appointments. Lynn the social worker was great during the discharge process and made sure that care was in place for her when she got home. A big thank you the therapy and nursing team without them she would not have been able to return home she definitely regained her independence! Thank you lone star! Best skilled nursing facility in kingsville!

I left a review on their website and it is not on there, so I will share here. I do not want anyone to go through what we are going through due to medical neglect of the staff. My father was there for 20 days for physical therapy and came out in a delicate state and is now hospitalized. We stayed with him 22-24 hours a day and we kept voicing concerns and a nurse to another nurse about her concerns about my father.. which were neglected, and now my father is hospitalized in delicate state. David the director is good at communicating with us but the medical side failed us. We helped them so much with my dad. We trusted them with the medical side that we did not know. But we know our father and we kept telling them something isn’t right. I don’t want anyone to experience what we are going through. My dad was healthy, all he needed was physical therapy. I won’t share more because it’s personal, but if you don’t have the patience to work at a nursing home you need to rethink your job. That is the home to a lot of people, not a job.

The staff is amazing! The facility always smells clean and the nurses were very attentive with my aunt, she made great progress with her therapy sessions and now she is living on her own. Thank you so much Lone Star! Definitely recommend after surgery or a hospital stay!

My mom was placed here just over 1 year ago. Of course placing a loved one in a home is hard decision to make . I worried about thinking they don’t know her and all the things that can go wrong . She unfortunately passed away at the end of August and I can’t express what an amazing facility this is . My mom was cared for with compassion, kindness , patience , respect and understanding all the way to the end . The staff became my family. They went above and beyond their job description every time they stepped into my mom’s room. Tara and Victoria always answered my texts , my calls and no matter what time of the or night they were there to put my mind and heart at ease . Hope was so kind and loving while giving my mom her meds towards the end when she couldn’t take them herself . I can never thank them enough for all they did for my mom and also for me . Tara and Victoria even came To my mom’s services to show her respect and to be there for me . I want to thank ALL staff for everything.
