This place is great! It's clean and safe, sanitary, reliable and 24/7 visitation. My mom is currently there for rehab for a cracked femur. She gets the care and attention she needs for therapy and her meds. The staff has all been very pleasant, happy and sweet to her and me. I have watched all their interactions with each other as well as patientd and everyone seems happy to work there and happy to take care of patients. I was so worried about the duty of care with the some places having bad reviews. Not this place. It's established and A+. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great facility for their older loved one.

***Absolutely do NOT choose this facility if your loved one has Dementia or an open wound. *** My father was admitted to this location after management agreed to take on his care. I made it clear that my father needed 24 hour assistance: 1 because of his Dementia, he needed constant instruction, 2. he had a recent amputation and was unable to put any weight on his foot. The doctor and nurses did not follow the treatment plan set by his doctor. On numerous visits we noticed he was getting in/out of bed on his own, with no assistance. His foot did not have any dressing/bandages and he was not wearing a shoe to prevent any infection or offer support. Days after he was admitted, I had to sign him out of the facility, sign an AMA (Against Medical Advice) form and take him to the emergency room. The doctor/nurse at the facility insisted he was ok and did not need any immediate care. When I arrived at the ER, the doctor said he was glad I did not listen to the facility. My father had a severe infection on his wound and heel of his foot. The hospital quickly administered numerous antibiotics and promptly admitted him. This facility is negligent, and makes excuses on how they treat their patients. They do not manage their patients well, nor do they follow medical orders. Advocate for your loved ones, do not trust Life Care to be properly care for them.

My mother in-law is currently in your facility, and I have to say that I have NVR seen such rude and disrespectful care. I will be lodging a formal complaint. You leave her in a diaper and she smells like pee. A diaper mind you that she is out in because your staff doesn't want to help her use the bathroom. This is outrageous behavior. I have changed my rating on this only for one reason, the day shift at the facility are absolutely amazing. The issue I had was taken care of immediately by the day staff. Unfortunately, that does not extend to the night shift. There is no type of care or compassion from ANYONE on the night shift. They are rude, leave patients calling for help for hours. When telling the nurses anything they shrug you off and act as if they are so busy. If they were busy with patients, then why are so many patients in bed screaming for help. As I have stated before my mother in law is in rehab ING from a brain bleed. She is a fall risk. They have not even one time at night helped her to the bathroom. She had medication on her bed that the nurses had failed to monitor her actually taking them. She said that they don't ever EVER CHECK ON HER. IF your loved ones only have to stay during the day then this place rocks. If they have to stay the night, then I would NOT RECOMMEND this place. I feel as if I need to report this to someone. Elderly abuse is alive and it happens here every night. I am going to talk to my reporter friend. Someone needs to make everyone aware of this facility and others. There are very caring people who work here and do there jobs. Unfortunately there are more who do not.

I waited two weeks to write this review.I only have maybe two complaints.OneYou shouldn't have to do therapy at seven thirty at night. I think that's kinda late. 2 your food has to get better. But all the workers in the dietary area were wonderful. Now to my nurses, marianne, ron and and Jennifer and Portia. And 2 of the most Passionate nurses there, in my opinion, Monica on second shift and faith on day shift. They really really looked out for me. And I appreciate that so much. They both kept me calm and level-headed. When I was eager to go home. Especially that faith, she stopped me from going a m a against medical advice. Those 2 nurses deserve a recognition. Some type of a reward now about therapy, everybody was wonderful, except from one person. Dana bree kevin isaiah and especially cherry She was the best. And 2, the rest of the staff, they were wonderful Cheyenne was awesome. The 2 case managers that I dealt with were great. Now I did hear stories about other nurses treating a patient's bad over there in the 300 hall. By hiding their medicine and not giving it to them at the right time. I think you should check-in on that. I also was sad to hear that Amanda at the front desk got terminated. She always checked on me.. I like the fact that you're open 24 hours only thing. I worry about is there is no security For the nurses, the C and A's, and the patients. Also, giving the nurses 30 patients. Sometimes that is very dangerous in my opinion. Once again, I want to give my recognition to faith and Monica. Now will I come back? Yes, I will. Cause I didn't have too many issues there. In fact, I might be coming back before the end of the year. And hopefully I can get my same nurses, and I want to give a shout out to the CMA's

5 Stars – Exceptional Care and Compassion I can’t thank the team at Life Care Center of South Las Vegas enough for the incredible care they provided to my grandfather during his time there. Ron and his staff were truly amazing—compassionate, attentive, and always professional. Every visit, we saw firsthand how well my grandfather was being cared for. He was never left waiting or wanting for anything, and the team always treated him with the utmost respect and dignity. It gave our family tremendous peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and caring hands, all the way through to his final days. I wholeheartedly recommend Life Care Center of South Las Vegas to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be treated like family. Thank you, Ron and team, for everything.
