We can not speak for the skilled care department. We only experienced the Assisted Living section of this facility. That building has a Sanitation rating of C. The rooms are small and cramped. Our lady stayed there only 4 days and begged us to get her out. There were unverified rumors of staff hitting residents. From our experience I would simply advise a careful analysis before putting a family member there. Talk to long-term residents who are cognizant. Don't base your decision on Google reviews.

I cannot recommend Lillington Health and Rehab highly enough. My father was transferred here from Rocky Mount, and while we were initially concerned about the distance, it has been a true blessing. The quality of care and the genuine kindness of the staff are exceptional. My father is currently a resident, undergoing chemo treatments and battling cancer, and the support he has received has been incredible. The facility is always clean, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The entire team is phenomenal, but a few individuals have made a significant impact on our family: * Tamika and Stephanie the secretaries are Always pleasant and welcoming, she sets a positive tone for every visit. * Scott and rehabilitation therapy team: They've been great, ensuring my father receives the best possible movement and diet for his needs. * Grace, the DON, and Jennifer, a nurse: They went above and beyond to help with a crucial form needed for my father's surgery, working together to ensure everything was completed in a timely manner. * Eileen, who handles scheduling and transportation: She has been wonderful, accommodating appointments and patiently explaining details to my father, who has a tracheostomy. * George: He has been incredibly patient and phenomenal with my father, making sure he feels heard and understood despite his communication challenges. * Sheridan, Freeman, Charon, and Amanda, nurses: Their skilled and compassionate care has given me immense peace of mind, especially as I commute from Washington, D.C. * Bree, the social worker: She has been a great resource for questions about Medicare. From the doctors and nurses to the aides and cleaning crew, everyone is committed to excellence. Thank you for everything you do. This team has been a tremendous blessing to my family and me, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of compassionate and professional care for their loved ones.
