My loved one recently came home after a extended stay in rehab at Liberty, and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without the help of Jackie Social Director, Kristy admissions, Jessica admissions, and the incredible CNAs and nurses on the rehab halls. They cared for my family member with so much kindness, patience, and consistency, and they often helped with things that weren’t even their responsibility. Their support made a very hard time feel manageable. I also want to mention Darren from dietary. He was always so courteous, and the food was genuinely very good. It made a big difference for my loved one’s comfort and recovery. I do wish there was stronger administrative support from the leadership team. The Director of Nursing, Tamni, the Assistant Nursing, Bianca, and the Administrator, Janet, were often not present or available, which was disappointing to see given how much the floor staff carry every day. The frontline team truly held everything together, and I’m deeply grateful for them.

I can not express how pleased our family is for Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehab of Johnston County! My father was placed their for over 3 weeks in short-term Skilled Rehab and during this time my mother was also placed their in the Assisted Living section at their facility. The admission's team (Jessica & Kristy) were both so helpful in assisting our family and answering all of our questions. They were able to accommodate all our needs from admissions to discharge professionally and with a caring spirit. The PT & OT team were outstanding and helped our father with his multiple fractures to exercise towards healing and restoring him back to walking again. The facility's Nurses & Aides are all SO patient and kind ( my parents were on 800 and 600 hall) and my parents never had a negative comment on any of their workers there. I observed personally how kind, helpful, and almost always quick to respond to any needs or requests my parent had. The Aide (Anna) on 600 hall was always so sweet, friendly, and helpful to my mother. Just as the aide (Amber) on the 800 hall, was kind, patient, and willing to assist my father with any request. All Nurses and Aides were so good to both of them. My parents enjoyed the meals served while they were at Liberty Commons. I have to admit the meals did smell and looked great! I also have to comment on how clean and in excellent conditions the facility is kept. As many times as I was present, I never witnessed bad smells or the building needing to be cleaned. My parents are both at home now and doing much better thanks to the loving care and excellent services received from the entire "team" at Liberty Commons of Johnston County in Benson. Thank you all for all you did and continue to do for your residents. ❤️ E. Bass

My 85-year old dad just completed about 7-weeks of short-term rehab at Liberty Commons in Benson, and I could not be happier with his stay there. The entire staff, including the directors, social workers, nurses, therapists, and aides were wonderful with my dad, and always super friendly and accommodating to me and my many questions. I visited my dad on average about every other day, and each and every time I was greeted with smiles and a willingness to answer my questions about my dad's progress. Even the receptionist at the front desk greeted me with smiles. The day my dad was admitted, I met with one of the directors, and they assured me that he would be well taken care of, and they would always be available for me and my questions or concerns. It was a very high bar they set for themselves, and they truly lived up to it, even beyond what I expected. My dad never had anything negative to say about how he was treated there, and always said everything was great. I very highly recommend Liberty Commons to anyone in need of their services!
