To begin, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional staff at this facility. I have had the pleasure of interacting with every employee, and I have consistently been impressed by their personability and professionalism. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the Signature Admissions Representative who provided support during my mother’s transition. The NP, psychologists, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, PCAs, activities personnel (Donna), environmental services, dietary, and maintenance staff have all been outstanding. Each individual possesses knowledge, extensive training, and a genuine desire to provide compassionate care. The care my mother has received has far exceeded my expectations. Her recovery, which could have potentially taken up to six weeks, has been significantly shortened. The staff has dedicated twice daily sessions to my mother’s physical and occupational therapy, demonstrating their expertise in teaching her safe and appropriate techniques for transitioning after her above-knee amputation. Additionally, they have prepared her for life at home, ensuring that she is adequately equipped and informed. Once again, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all the nursing staff and aides who make this facility truly special.
My mother was just taken there today and already having problems, getting someone to help her get to the restroom. If she falls due to be neglected, there will be a law suit. She's a fall risk right now. You don't put somebody on a toilet and not go help them up when they get done. She can't do and isn't supposed to do it on her own. She better start getting taking care of better. I will be down there soon and will be watching what everyone does. I'll have a camera in the room for the times I'm not there. I've worked in places like this. I know how people get treated and my mother does not get treated like she's a piece of dirt. She is a human. And needs to be treated like she's a person. You worship the ground, they walk on as well as everybody else in that place.
My mom received excellent care at Signature South. From therapy, administration and nursing to housekeeping and maintenance, everything was heart felt. My family felt like South Family!
As bad as I didn't want to go to rehab this was the best move I could have made for me. I don't know who can take the credit for hiring the people associated with this facility but they have an eye or a sense for quality people. Everyone I encountered associated with this facility operated at the peak of their professional tasks. Their empathy n humanity touched me.
I can’t praise the staff at signature South for everything that they did for my mom. They were very vigilante , comforting as well as providing support in every way possible not only for my mom but for me as well. They are great when it comes to their patients and the family I can’t say enough about these wonderful people
