I couldn’t be more appreciative of the Social Services Department at Madera Rehab. Mary Jane and Cindy consistently go above and beyond for their patients, and their dedication shows in every interaction. Madera Rehab is fortunate to have such compassionate and hardworking team members. I’m proud to work alongside them in serving the seniors of the Madera community.

My friend Steven is there now and I’m shocked how much needs repair. The sliding doors that go out to the patio area is original and the doors drag metal to metal no wheels left!!hoe can that not be replaced or at least repaired??? They are not energy efficient! Come on A Street Rehabilitation you are better than that! Now the people who work there are nice people but admit this place needs attention!!! I hope they listen and am thankful they have a place for people like my friend Steven to go to be taken care of!

I found out tonight that a tall, skinny black nurse with an Afro told my 83 yr old father that is currently in Madera Rehabilitation and Nursing that my brother "no longer wants to care for him and wants nothing to do with him ". To say that I'm upset would be putting it extremely mildly! This poor excuse for a human being needs to be fired immediately and if not we are going to have serious issues! How damn heartless do you have to be to say such heartbreaking things to an older man who's already in a scary situation and is in constant pain, this awful person has no business being in nursing period!!! I'm extremely pissed!!! There is a witness as well as 2 other nurses who verified "they know who said it " upon being confronted. This ignorant person should also be denied unemployment due to the reason she is going to be fired!

My 89 year old Dad fell & ultimately had to have hip surgery & was sent here for physical therapy. The entire staff were really good! The nurses & therapist were very gentle & patient with my dad & the wait time from the time my dad would push the nurse button to the time they would come in was always come pretty fast to see what he needed. The therapist would come in to get him for therapy if he was sleeping they would come back later when he was awake, but always got his therapy in! They kept the place clean. As much as I hated having my dad there because he lives with me & every day with him is a gift, but if I had to put my dad in a Home short term or long term & would definitely feel comfortable placing him here for quality care.

We had a patient dropped off by Madera rehab. The patient was left unattended and in the sun. Once the appointment was over he was called by Madera Rehab to catch a ride on the bus, STILL unattended. Truly saddening.
