They almost killed my father. They had complete control over his diet and medications. They called me one day, and said they found my elderly father naked on the floor, chewing on plastic, with a blood sugar level of 500. Then, they asked me if I wanted them to send him to the hospital, as if they weren't smart enough to realize that an ambulance should have been called before they called me. As if that wasn't sad enough, after I moved my father to a different and more professional rehab center, River Terrace made it incredibly difficult for me to collect his belongings. That being said, it was an attractive building with a private room. Dad lived another two years after that, and with a well controlled diet, he was no longer diabetic or prescribed any diabetes medications.

Dana made sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed for planning. The facility has a great view, clean and free of the smell typically associated with facilities.

My mom recently moved in on the independent living floor. All the staff have made her feel welcome and she’s loving it so far! Her 2 bedroom apartment is beautiful.

My father was here for rehabilitation after a hospital stay.. please don't ever let your loved one stay here! No staff, poor management, no continuity of care.. beautiful facility as a front for very poor care.. should be shut down for violations

Our Mother needed rehab after an extensive broken hip. We chose River Terrace and are so thankful we did! Their therapy and nursing care is outstanding. Our family was kept informed and our mother was treated like a queen. She loved the food and actually put on a few needed pounds during her stay. We highly recommend River Terrace when you need your loved one taken care of and brought back to health.
