I would not recommend The Views of Marion Assisted Living to anyone. My mother is currently a resident there. They can’t keep staff from the front desk to cleaning services ect. There is hardly ever anyone at the front desk when visiting or trying to call. I have even left messages with no call back or response. The last cleaning staff that was there actually stole money right out of my mom’s purse while she was in the seating area waiting for her apartment to be cleaned. She had expressed her concern and all they said was “Did you have your door locked?” Now why would she have her door locked if her apartment was being “so called” cleaned? The transportation for residents is crap too. The Executive director Dallas Urban does nothing but sweep things under the rug and gives you nothing but the run around. They have changed television services without informing residents leaving them to have absolutely nothing to watch which is most of their livelihood. Nothing works there from the wall fountain upon entering, to the coffee machine, or it works with no cups stocked, the ice cream machine is always broken. The place is a joke for as much as the residents have to pay for rent a month. The food has improved somewhat but is still not all that great. In case of an emergency it is probably best to just call 911. The response time there is terrible. My father passed away in the “Memory Care Unit” which was exceptional. I would move her out of there but she has become accustomed to her surroundings and it would be nothing but a disruption for her. They can’t even fill the apartments. I wonder why? Do not recommend to family members, friends or others!
Horrible. Horrible service and quality. DO NOT let your loved ones stay here. The workers do NOT attend to their patients. My loved one who spent time here never had any help. When they needed to use the restroom, they would have to wait over an HOUR. over. an HOUR. The workers here are rude, and I can never find any. Please. Choose somewhere else.
The Views of Marion is a fantastic community. That have friendly and caring staff and truly strive for exceptional care.
The Views of Marion is a beautiful, clean and caring community. They can care for your loved one for nearly all their stages of care! From Assisted Living to Long Term. I recommend their community often for my clients who are looking for their new home.
When my 80+ year old mother was scheduled for two surgeries in May and July this past year, our family agreed that we wanted her to stay at the Views. This was her second stay at the Views-- she had also recovered there following an earlier surgery. We don't want to mention names (for fear we may forget someone). Suffice it to say that the administrative staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and helped us through Medicare and insurance issues. We also very much appreciated the efforts of the skilled nurses, the physical therapy specialists and all of the assistants who helped with her recovery. Kudos to all of the good people at the Views for getting mom on the road to recovery!!
