Silver oak nursing and rehab provides excellent care, exceeding residents' expectations and offering a lot of love, making it a great place for loved ones. One thing I can say we care for our residents and their families.
My brother spent the last year of his life at Silver Oak in Marion. We are grateful that he was welcomed into Silver Oak where he received high quality attentive care. As a family member, I was kept informed, visits were welcomed, and needs were heard and supported.
My mom was there and right toward the end they wouldn’t let hospice come in. Died 5 days after that. When a resident tells you that they are going to fall get a damn wheel chair for them don’t just tell them that they won’t or no their not. Also when your staff ignores paramedics when they ask what hospital to take the resident to that’s a problem. That nurse name was Euguia. Would give negative stars if i could. So glad my mom and I don’t have to deal with you guys anymore.
The staff at Silver Oaks was easy to work with and was able to admit my mother-in-law very quickly and made the paperwork go smoothly. Since she’s been living there, the facility is clean and neat and the staff friendly and smiling and call the residents by name. The administrator is very responsive to emails and answers questions thoroughly with extra information I wouldn’t have thought to ask. I recommend this facility.
Our family has had a loved one in Silver Oak for three years. We are able to visit often and observe the love and care provided by Silver Oak’s staff. They talk with us regularly to review her care and to learn of any concerns. We have been in other facilities, but the environment provided by Silver Oak’s staff is special. Our loved one is comfortable and happy there. And we are relieved to have found this nursing home.
