I visited my grandfather while recovering from surgery. Nursing and care staff were difficult to find. Very pungent odor of urine everywhere. His room had several washcloths covered in urine and feces directly on the floor. Visible dirt and debris underneath beds, indicated lack of a good environmental/ cleaning program and best practices for care staffing. I encourage anyone to look up their government inspection history to see repeat findings and evidence of failure to report acts of negligent care and implement an infection prevention and control program. There are many more concerning violations in relation to food and safety controls and failure to provide pressure ulcer care. All recent from 2023-2024. Yes, all violations were fixed according to the website, however, given multiple findings were repeated from year to year, I have significant doubt that their corrections implemented have remained effective. Negative 10 out of 10 , do not recommend.
AI was in the care center for rehab. Everyone was so friendly, kind & respectful. Always wearing a smile & giving hugs . They genuinely care about all the clients. They are efficient and work very hard. Physical therapy was amazing! Allen is very knowledgeable and helpful for me and my needs . One of the reasons my stay was short , &recovery was speedy! I had a very positive experience during my stay. I'll be going there to visit with the residents. No complaints. I'm leaving on a positive note. The food was awesome!
Hi my Father came to your facility for Rehab after a fall. The staff was wonderful to my father. Alan from Rehab was excellent I can't say enough about him. The Nurses were also very kind and very interactive with my father and us as a family. The social worker was excellent also. Thank you to all of your staff that made my father stay wonderful. I appreciate it. Tracy Steffen
A truly appalling nursing home would be characterized by a pervasive, unpleasant odor, likely from poor hygiene practices, with visibly soiled common areas and resident rooms, indicating inadequate cleaning routines; neglected residents with unkempt clothing and unbathed bodies due to understaffing; malfunctioning medical equipment; a lack of basic comforts like clean bedding and proper temperature control; and a general atmosphere of disarray and neglect, where residents appear uncared for and staff seem indifferent to their basic needs, creating a deeply disturbing and unsafe environment for the elderly residents. Don't send loved ones here
I had totally knee replacement in Dec if last year. I came here not knowing what to expect as my previous PT experiences were horrid. This has been a WONDERFUL experience for me. My therapist, Allan, was very patient and explained why each exercise was needed to regain full motion/strength. My sessions were productive and my surgeon was thrilled w/my early progress and stated my therapist was to thank. So, if you want good experienced PT, then I highly recommend Allan at the Montello Care Center. You won't regret it.
