My brother was admitted there only four days ago. The warmth and attentiveness of the entire staff has been spectacular. We were so lucky that Beth Israel and his social worker got him a position in your rehab. The owners should be proud of the dedicated workforce you have working at Briarwood as a team. !!!!!!!
Briarwood was a perfect place for my mother to rehab after her hospital stay. The nursing staff and aids were caring and attentive, physical & occupational therapists worked with her daily to help her regain strength and confidence. Her respiratory therapist from the first day went above and beyond to care, advocate and educate her on her equipment. Her case manager communicated weekly on her progress and her discharge was seamless assisting in lining up continuing care. Everyone on staff had a goal to get my mother healthier & stronger and worked together to achieve. Although the building appears a bit dated, my mom was in a newly renovated room, with renovations continuing. We were thankful for the outside patio with beautiful plantings to enjoy some fresh air outside the “hospital” setting. Perfect place for families to gather. Briarwood exceeded our expectations and we would recommend.
The nursing staff are the most compassionate, hardest working people, keeping a sense of happiness and joy where it is needed. The facility is an older building which is being renovated. The facility is kept very clean and you are not overwhelmed by bad odors . I would recommend Briarwood if your loved one was in need of a memory care facility. The staff go above and beyond in keeping each patient safe, taken care of , and as best they can .. comfortable and happy. Gold star to them all….. as in most facilities, they are overworked and underpaid.
I was recently given a tour. The staff there are very kind and hospitable. It is a very welcoming environment. They're doing a great job with renovations, and the patio is beautiful. Kara did amazing work with the recreational program.
Kara, the Briarwood recreation director, made a special connection with my uncle Richard who recently passed away. They both discussed daily how they hiked all of the white mountains. She involved him in every activity and event. I am so touched by how caring and compassionate she is, and I am so happy with the care he received at Briarwood. Thank you very much.
