This facility is a nice place. The staff here are all pretty good and the facility is kept clean. I recently went on a fishing trip which I really enjoyed. My favorite thing about Life Care is when my little friend, Oliver, comes from Kansas to visit. I also have a good roommate who I have become friends with

I've been here under 24 hrs Lord forgive me but it's a hard no it smells wow absolutely no organization and very non professional and I can absolutely see the reason for violations and such that have been against this place. I was blessed to have found not just for this one in particular but whole conglomerate of Life Care Center of America lawsuits and violations. The Bible does clearly say everything hidden shall be revealed.🙏🙏🙏🙏

BEWARE- Please do your research before you chose this place !!!!! . My mother was here for three months, and it was only a selfish money pit. We had many issues with the staff saying they gave my mother her medicine but actually pocketing the pills. We caught this action when the bills came in and the investigation report came back it was true and would be handled. Some of the rehab therapy affinities that come in are very rude, bring their home pets to roam your room during your appointment and are physically forceful. If do chose to come here, ask for Lexi Anderson. She was the only one who had a care in her whole body about others. Do your research in the facility as we did not know they had mice through the walls going from room to room into all drawers. If you loved the government food program the school served back in the 90's, well this is your place. Our Medicare plans and supplemental insurance was paying our bill in full during our stay. We were completely aware this would only last for about 3mths, then private pay kicks in. The day the insurance stopped paying, they are at your door like an angry landlord or debt collector (extremely uncomfortable). A person (you have never met) barges in your room at dawn. They demand instantly $35k now and if you can't on the spot, you have till 5pm that same day. The facility knew my mother was leaving that facility within a few days. So, I fought to reduce the private pay to one month fee private pay, they approved (the only good thing out of this whole situation). I also did this as they already lied, poor customer service and job knowledge. We were told the prorated amount would come back to us a week after we leave the facility. Long story short, after a lot of mixed information, wrong calculations, lack of job knowledge + LAZYINESS, we did not see the refund for over three months! I sent corporate an email many times on all these major concerns. Every time some correspondences came back, it was from this facility asking to speak to them first. They lie and do sketchy stuff so why would I want to speak with them? They did nothing when I spoke up when my mom was there. So, after begging to speak directly with corporate and not getting anywhere I just chose a review for fair warnings. I am glad we left when we did due to, they just got banned from taking any more patients. There are other rehab places out there and please do your research for your loved ones/self. P.S-we are now at a Hillcrest rehab facility again for a short term. It is nowhere near the cost of this Life Care Center or complete atmosphere. I give it an 8/10 as Life Care Center 2/10
