I have had a wonderful experience with Life Care Center of Osawatomie with my mother’s care. The process of applying for Medicaid benefits can be overwhelming. Alison has been great at walking me through every part of the application process...going above and beyond all expectations! Tammi has been wonderful with the admissions process and genuinely cares about the residents. She is usually the first point of contact for family members and is a wonderful representative for Life Care Center. Heather, mother’s social worker has been great at answering my many questions as everything is about finding a new normal. I appreciate the nursing staff’s calls when there is a change in medicine or protocols for Mother’s care. With quarantine protocols in place when mother first arrived, Lindsey and Dixie were wonderful in helping me touch base with mom by phone and giving updates with how she was doing. Thanks to everyone at Life Care Center of Osawatomie for all of your wonderful care for our mother and for all of your assistance to me personally along the way!!! Melody Moore
My experience with Life Carre Center was for most part positive. The staff is very caring and compassionate. Some of them went above and beyond to be helpful. I mentioned to one of the housekeepers that the recliner was hurting my back and she personally saw to getting me a different one. The only thing I didn't care for was the food. The kitchen staff were friendly and helpful. The therapy department were great. My daughter and I were in a vehicle accident and at life care center at the same time although she had to stay a lot longer. They were very understanding of the bond we share.
I chose Osawatomie Life Care Center because my mom was here previously as a resident. Most of the nurses and aides are good at what they do. Occasionally, some are not as caring as others. I was able to discuss this with Management and work towards resolving. I would suggest improvements with the dining experience. Therapy was wonderful and I feel that I improved 100% since admission. I would recommend Life Care to anyone needing great rehab. Diane Van Winkle
My aunt was a client this spring. The nurses and other staff took excellent care of her. She wasn't easy to take care of because of her pain from arthritis but they were very kind and considerate with her care. She was always clean and dressed which wasn't any small feat. PT was very good at getting her to do her excersises. Highly recommend.
Tammi Conner was so good with everyone at Life Care Center. We went to visit my Mom, and I witnessed Tammi with several of the of the patients. It was for a Valentine's day party. They had music, they made sure every patient was involved in the activities, dancing, singing, it didn't matter if they were in wheel chairs, using walkers, standing, or whatever. The smiles were on the faces of Staff, patients and the guest alike. I personally had tears of joy running down my face. You could Deffently tell that the staff interacts with the patients with love and care. ❤ Tammi Conner took care of my Mom, as if she was taking care of her own Mom. When my Uncle went there she treated him like family, also. I am so thankful for all you have done for my family and myself. You are my Angel. Thank you ❤
