So I saw a notice on my windshield that I was parked in a loading area thou I was parked in the grass area near the exit. If you all don't want people parking in the grass area near the exit post a sign. But, that's too easy 🙄

Just placed my sweet mother in law on the memory unit. The nurse was awesome in her intake assessment, and noted health concerns I had not even addressed. The building is old, definitely school brick type, but was not dirty in the areas I saw. The staff were attentive to the residents and the residents seemed clean and healthy. The staffing ratio was good for the type of resident. The administration answered all questions and was very polite. Everyone I encountered was very polite and helpful. I will post further observations in the future.

Incredible Appreciation to the Staff at this facility! Every single person that my husband and I spoke to regarding the care of my brother-in-law was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and empathetic. Each staff member who was in contact with my brother-in-law exhibited a heart of gold. I have to say particular appreciation to the Director of Nurses, Sandra, for her diligence and care in diagnosing my brother-in-law to ensure he stayed safe. Then, going to extraordinary lengths to enable his relocation to the memory care. This was a challenging time for my husband and I, as it would be for anyone in this situation, but the staff at RCSG did there best to help both us and my brother-in-law every step of the way. To be clear when I mean everyone, I do not just mean the wonderful LPN Jasmine, and all the other nurses who took care of him physically. Indeed, I also mean from the standpoint of the tedious documentation that was involved, Chanelle was an angel to work with while dealing with the necessary paperwork. No one ever wants to go through a similar situation, but I hope if you do that you have a staff as supportive as this one. Thank you All!

This facility is filthy inside and outside. This facility is below staffing level. I visit my wife everyday and I see all of this first hand. I have yet to see any improvements in any area over the year I have been visiting my wife. There is one thing you will see, employees using their cell phones during work hours. Cell phones should be left in their vehicle or at home. The facility has a telephone and employees can be reached using that number. In my opinion all of the things that are suffering at this facility is due to poor management. This is an 8 - 5 job for the management, but I do believe they should be required to work during those hours. At the present time the kitchen floor is being removed to find a water leak. I'm not sure how the food is being prepared for the residents but they can't cook in the kitchen. There should always be a backup plan for any emergency, a Caterer would be the solution. My wife has been in the memory unit at this facility since 14 July 2021. I would have never believed this place could get worse. I have missed 6 days visiting my wife since her arrival July 15th 2021. I can honestly tell you the stuff you read on their website is mostly wrong. I am there when my wife gets her lunch, I feed her meal to her. Her meal has been cold so many times, I have talked to the Administrative office, to the woman in charge of the facility and told her I would buy one meal heating cabinet if she would buy one. She declined. The meal heating cabinet holds 26 meals on serving trays. On their home page you will read all the stuff they say they are providing to the residents.

Oh the NIGHTMARE! I can’t even begin to tell you the horror my sister endured and the lack of care she received! My nephew requested numerous times in the 6 months she was there for assistance getting her moved closer to him in Valdosta. No help from hospice or otherwise. After multiple falls one leading to a brain bleed we were finally able to get her moved to a new home where she is thriving! We give God the glory! Please please do not put your loved one in this facility! I will say that there were a few employees who I encountered that did care but unfortunately they could not be there 24/ 7. As far as the administrator well he apparently doesn’t want to talk to family! I know I called multiple times a day and he was no where to be found when things got rough! Zero would be my rating but unfortunately it’s not a choice!
