We always speak the truth when we say we are so fortunate that Mom is in your care. ❤️ Your entire staff work in such unity together to bring such excellent care to your residents...from kitchen staff to nursing staff to support staff, your sweet Activities Director - truly a family atmosphere. Thanks for all you do each & every day to make us feel that Mom is exactly where she is meant to be. We feel at peace knowing our Dear Mother is in such good hands. In the beginning of this journey, it took such a long time to find placement for Mom. You had no openings for a long period of time until just one bed became available - I believe Mom was meant to fill that space and to be there with you. Love your fall decor out in the lobby & on your bulletin board - it's all of your acts of kindness that add up to keep our hearts 💕 full of gratitude.

We are so grateful for this place and the WONDERFUL caring loving staff who take care of my Grandma. We are always so impressed with how well they stay on top of her care, how they offer extra loving ways that make all the difference, and how excellent the staff is at communicating with all of us, as well as implementing any requests we have. We waited a long time for an opening here to become available and are so glad we waited it out so she could have this exceptional care that she so deserves. Thank you Tomahawk Health Services for everything you do to make my Grandma’s life as full and comfortable as possible. We Love and appreciate you so much. You are Angels on Earth & we are so grateful to be blessed by your hard work and dedication.

Although I don’t have a family member within this facility I do visit with a friend occasionally when she sees her great aunt. This place seems so caring and compassionate. I heard it has gotten a bad rep in the past but they appeared to have done a complete 180 (told was due to newer director & mgt personnel). It is warm & inviting and majority of the staff is always smiling and friendly. Should I ever have to place a loved one in a nursing home/senior care facility I would definitely start here. Thank you to all the CNA’s working hard there as I was also one in the past. 🌟🫶🏼☺️

This took took excellent care of my Grandpa. The entire staff made sure he was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. Grandpa didn't like people in general, but he really did like the staff here and brought it up when we would visit, which was noteworthy. They threw him a lovely birthday party (complete with a cake with a canoe on it, he did love canoeing), would bring him a hot drink every night, and did everything they could to make him feel loved and cared for when he passed. We are truly grateful to this group for the way they took care of him.

NO STARS Employees only come to work to collect a paycheck. The lack of staffing and mismanagement that happens behind these closed doors is not at the quality of standards or to preserve life. Management is run by under qualified staff that doesn't have the knowledge, background or skills to fulfill the basic needs for residents let alone how you can legally conduct yourself with other staff members. Both Sister facilities have bad reputation in this community and surrounding for consistent mistakes made by staff that is harmful to the residents physical self as well as mental stability. My step father was unfortunately killed by these facilities. My mother kept him alive and souly took care of him for 7 years until she couldn't physically pick him up to assist in his daily needs. It took the facilities less than a month to kill him. First they starved him to death, he is bed ridden and when released to these facilities he was sent with specific instructions for being in bed and being on a blended/soft diet. Well, needless to say the staff made their own rules and starved him for the first week, then did a liquid diet only and after the staff was caught lieing about actually feeding him they stuffed food right into his lungs from too large of bites and feeding him too fast for his condition. One staff member even had the nerve to lie and say that he talked to her with actual words but yet this man hasn't been able to speak for roughly a little over a year by this point. His condition deteriorated him quicker in the facilities. The amount of times we found him slouching in a chair and left alone in his room by the staff was mind boggling. The guy was top heavy and needed a chest strap (transported from bed anywhere in a wheelchair.) The amount of falls he took because of being put in a chair and left alone without the proper safety equipment to secure him. I could continue but unfortunately this still makes my blood boil! I suggest taking ur loved ones to another town if forced into any kind of nursing home care!
