Brookdale Overland Park 119th

The Brookdale staff and facility are amazing.! They make you feel so special. I have not been this happy for a long time. My only regret is that I did not move here sooner.

Management seems to be more concerned with fixing cosmetic stuff instead of functional issues (ie: elevators and washer/dryers). Food quality is going downward size wise plus too much spice and sauces. Staff is generally friendly and helpful.

My mom lived at Brookdale's Independent Living for five years. This is the note I sent the staff on her last day that sums up our experience: I want to thank the Brookdale team from the bottom of my heart. The activities, the staff, the residents – they all were such a blessing to her. She is sad to leave but that’s only because of what a wonderful home she’s had for five years. Again, a huge thank you from my family to the team at Brookdale for providing care and support above and beyond what we could have ever expected.

Brookdale has been an answer to our prayers when it came to finding a senior living facility for our family member. Brookdale is a beautiful, inviting community and offers a great variety of activities, dining options, and amenities. The staff are amazing with encouraging resident (and family) involvement, and our dad enjoyed making friendships and participating in the community activities. There is very much a "family feel" when you visit the community and we are forever thankful for all of the help and support that our family has received from Brookdale.

If you are looking for independent senior living, Brookdale 119 in Overland Park is the place to live. The apartments are spacious, the food is delicious and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy. The staff is amazing. Deena, Jamie, Veronica, Alicia and John are so attentive. They are all so kind and caring. They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. I highly recommend Brookdale 119.
