Brookdale Overland Park

The night shift services needs a lot of revamping of the staff. This facility needs to acquire better trained individuals that have a desire to give 100% prompt and timely attention to the patients while on the job with desirable attitudes at all times. Sorry but it was a poor experience for my family member and I will not be recommending anyone in the future for your services

My parents have been living here in independent living for a couple of years now. They are not getting value for their money. The food has been horrible. My mom has a gluten intolerance and they don’t offer any options for her. My dad ordered a BLT and he got one piece of bacon on a piece of bread. They needed work done on their air conditioner because it was sinking into the ground and was not level and the maintenance workers went into their yard and took a bag of sand my dad had back there and propped their air conditioner on it. That just shows they do not care about their residents and how much money each person is paying to live there. My parents have found much better senior housing and are moving out.

If I were you I would NEVER let my loved one LIVE HERE. they treat the food delivery people as bad as they treat the people that live here. I was walking directly behind less than a foot apart from two of the African-American nurses that were coming to start work this morning at 7:00 a.m. and they let the door slam in my face then left me standing there and the only person that came to help me with someone that did not even work there. The two nurses just stood there talking while the stranger that doesn't even work there came to help me because I was waving asking for help

Brookdale is a wonderful facility that truly cares for their residents and their families. We had both of our parents at Brookdale, one in skilled nursing rehab and the other in Clare Bridge. All staff was considerate and caring to our parents and us. I was impressed how staff knew everyone by name and took time to listen to them and help them. So many wonderful individuals that truly love what they do and it shows!

My mom was at Brookdale Overland Park Skilled Care for nine weeks and it was outstanding! The staff there is very caring and their physical therapists did wonders with being able to get my mom back up and on her feet and able to return to her Independent Living facility. I highly recommend Brookdale Oveland Park!
