Unlike most large care facilities where the caregiver to resident ration can be 1-10 or even up to 1-20, working in a home environment with a 2-5 ratio means there is more down time so that caregivers have opportunities to sit with and enjoy time with our residents.

Responsibilities include:
Our caregivers;
• provide direct care to residents
• recognize individual needs
• encourage independence
• treat each senior with respect and dignity
• work in a home setting and assist our seniors with activities of daily living
• medication management and documentation, narratives, bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs
• help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, meal prep, mopping and dishes
Our residents enjoy a group activity each afternoon in addition to one-on-one activities.
Cozy Home is also the home of two recue dogs and they are a very important part of our lives so the perfect candidate will love dogs as much as we do.
