The position of Caregiver provides company for loved ones and services that improve their living environment and make them feel more at home. They provide personal care, meal assistance, transportation, medication management, and other health care duties as needed. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: • Must have a high school diploma or GED. Some college preferred. Proven experience as a caregiver. • Must have intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills. • Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR). • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints. • Physical endurance. • Certified in the state of Maryland to administer medication and be a current CMT (Certified Medicine Technician) under the Maryland Board of Nursing. Soft Skills: • Possess strong creative and customer service skills. • Must have strong critical thinking skills. • Have strong adaptability and flexibility to be effective in changing environments. • Possess strong conflict resolutions skills. Interpersonal Skills: • Ability to closely collaborate across all EPIC programs and departments.
