Full Time Certified Nursing Assistant

We are a small skilled nursing unit with 30 beds located in Gig Harbor and are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for the daily care of assigned patients. We offer 8-hour shifts with a competitive pay package and offer coverage for Bridge Tolls as well as many other benefits. Responsibilities: Administer care to ill, injured, or disabled patients on a short stay rehab unit Establish resident relationships and play a vital role in developing a plan of care Monitor changes in patient symptoms or behavior and work in collaboration with the care team Communicate effectively with the care team including physician and nurse managers regarding patient care Educate patients about health maintenance within your scope of practice Maintain accurate patient medical records and current standards of practice Provide emotional support to patients and their family members Qualifications: Previous experience in a skilled nursing or other medical fields Ability to work independently within scope of practice Strong ethical standards and delivery of exceptional care Familiarity with medical software and equipment (Experience with Matrix AOD is a plus) Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Executes positive conflict management, communication, and collaboration with all members of the care team Demonstrates professional integrity through the application of facility polici
