Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
What’s a Shahbaz? A Shahbaz is an enhanced CNA role within VMRC’s Woodland Park neighborhood, part of the Green House Project. As a Shahbaz, you will provide care for residents in Complete Living Care who reside in a real home. The environment and intimate family setting of 10-11 residents per house allows more opportunities to connect with residents and be a care partner with them, their families, and members of your home’s nursing team. A Shahbaz protects, sustains, and nurtures residents by providing assistance with activities of daily living, promoting a high quality of life and positive residenthood. Responsibilities include care of the residents and their environment - personal care, activities, cooking/meal preparation and service, laundry, and light housekeeping. Accountable to the clinical mentorship of nurses and resident care plans.
