Home Care Aide (HCA) Job Description

Pay: $23-26/hr
Shifts: Flexible, part-time hours
Locations: Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, San Jose, Mountain View, Milpitas and surrounding areas
Required:
2-3 years of professional caregiving experience
Driver’s License
Personal vehicle with auto insurance
Current HCA registration
Recent TB test

Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to seniors, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Transport seniors to appointments, social events and run errands
- Assist with mobility and transfer needs
- Assist with nighttime routines such as preparing for bed, personal care, and providing occasional incontinence care
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition
- Maintain a calm environment to make sure clients get the restful sleep they need
- Respond to any client needs or emergencies that may occur
