We are looking and have immediate openings for Home Care Aides (Male and Female) throughout Coachella Valley and the surrounding area including Yucca, Joshua Tree, 29 palms areas: Full-Time and Part-Time positions available. We work with your availability! Monday-Sunday (3hr, 5hr, 8hr, 10hr, and 12hr shifts, and Live-In) Weekdays, Weekends, Noc Shifts, Evenings, Mornings, Mid-day, Holidays, etc. Current Cases available with immediate placement in the following areas: Cathedral City Palm Springs Rancho Mirage: La Quinta: Indian wells: Indio: Palm Desert: DHS Thousand Palms Caregiver Responsibilities: Provides companionship for the client, such as talking and listening, reading aloud, and providing social and emotional support Helps client with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, running errands, organizing incoming mail, grooming and dressing guidance, and recreational activities Personal Care includes bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding, and other services Provides transportation to doctor’s appointments, beauty shops, etc. Records and reports changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance Comfort Keepers offers a wide arrange of Benefits including but not limited to the below items. If you are not a registered Home Care Aide we will give you information on how to become registered. Preferred experience as a caregiver (agency, facility, private clients, clinical) Companionship and/or Personal Care experience Ability to commit to provided availability A passion for the job and genuine desire to help others Dependable, responsible, nurturing, and caring attitude Access to reliable transportation with a willingness to travel throughout Coachella Valley and surrounding cities. Ability to pass background checks and work-related references Must pass drug testing Must have a valid California Driver's license Proof of Covid Vaccination or proof of Medical/Religious Exemption Must be willing to be tested for Covid prior to starting assignments if requested by patients.
