Home Care Aide (HCA) Job Description
The Homemaker provides services necessary to the maintenance of the patient. Duties may include the maintenance of safe environment such as light housekeeping of patient immediate areas. Reports to the RN Case Manager.
Must demonstrate experience as homemaker; ability to read, write and follow directions. Ability to work with dying patients and their families. Must possess sympathetic attitude toward caring for the dying patients and demonstrate positive communication skills interacting with other members of the team.
