Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job Description
Mary's Healing Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregivers/Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to meet and exceed the needs of individuals who wish to remain in their homes.
Our caregivers play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence while receiving quality support with daily activities and personal care needs.
As a Caregiver/PCA we may assist clients with:
- Personal hygiene and grooming
- Bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Meal planning and meal preparation
- Feeding assistance
- Light housekeeping and laundry services
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and emotional support
- Transportation and escort to appointments (if applicable)
- Activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition
Preferred but NOT required:
PCA, CNA, HHA, or related certification
CPR/First Aid Certification (we provide certification/re-certification)
Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or pediatric clients
