Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
Registered Nurse Daily Assessment of Client RN to assess the client's health status, administer medications, provide wound care, assist with activities of daily living, and monitor vital signs, all while collaborating with the clients family. This client is a quadriplegic. Vital Signs: Checking temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation. Pain Assessment: Evaluating pain levels and implementing appropriate pain management strategies. Wound Care: Assessing wounds, cleaning them, and applying dressings as needed. Mobility and Functional Status: Evaluating the client's ability to move around, perform daily tasks, and assess any potential fall risks. Nutritional Status: Assessing the client's appetite and eating habits, and ensuring they are receiving adequate nutrition. Mental Status: Monitoring the client's mental state, including alertness, orientation, and mood Catheter Care: Providing care for urinary catheters. Tube Feeding: Assisting with tube feedings, ensuring proper placement and administration Requirements: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure in the state where you pratice 1 year experience Continuing Education: Skilled nurses engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in nursing practice.
